Winter is making another appearance this weekend. The KSN Storm Tracker 3 team has you covered.
Wichita and South Central Kansas will see accumulating snow through Sunday, coming to an end overnight. By the end of the winter storm, Wichita could see up to 3-5″ of snow. As you head further north and west, expect amounts to decrease to 1-3″. The highest snow amounts will be in far Southern Kansas.
Along with travel problems, blowing snow will also be an issue Sunday causing low visibilities. Dangerous wind chills throughout the day into Monday morning can be expected, feeling 15 to 25 degrees below zero.
In Wichita and Reno Counties, the Emergency Accident Reporting Plan (EARP) is in effect. In Wichita, you can file a report at any police substation, QuikTrip or KwikShop location. You can also file online on the city’s website.
The KSN Storm Tracker 3 Team is monitoring this developing situation carefully and will continue to keep you posted here on http://www.ksn.com and on KSN TV.
