Art for the Heart to benefit students

WICHITA, Kansas – Imagine your child suffers from intellectual or developmental disabilities. Now imagine them building a meaningful friendship with a Young Life mentor who shares their life with teenagers and young adults with disabilities by coming alongside them and getting to know them.

Young Life Capernaum gives young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp and other exciting activities. Young Life staff and volunteers model Christ’s unconditional love and acceptance as they walk alongside these young adults – filling their lives with love and support.

Here’s a special way to help make these experiences possible for local children with disabilities:

This unique fundraising evening is open to all.

The event will include music and storytelling by national recording artist Jonah Werner, a special auction of art created by Young Life Capernaum friends and guest artist Dani Poe.
