TOPEKA, Kansas — Today Terry Presta was unanimously voted to become the Executive Director of the Kansas Lottery. The decision was voted on by the State Senate.
Presta was the Acting Executive Director since the beginning of the year after being nominated by Governor Sam Brownback.
Formerly, Presta was the CEO and President of Overland Park, based Presto Convenience Stores and brings more than 30 years of experience as a business owner/operator to his new role and he was also in the Kansas House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999 representing District 123.
“I am very pleased to be working with the Kansas Lottery team to produce important revenue for the State of Kansas,” said Presta. “I will be working to increase revenues, while continuing to provide our players with games they enjoy and supporting our retailers to ensure their lottery business is profitable.”
