SALINA, Kansas – Snow has been falling in Salina since early Tuesday morning.
The roads are snow packed, and more snow is still coming down.
KDOT says they have all of their crews working to clear roads.
It includes 80 trucks working along I-70.
Officials are concerned about other weather conditions besides the snow.
“The concern that we have is the wind, this is a very dry snow a light snow, and if the wind picks up we may see drifting, and that would be our greatest challenge,” said David Gereiser, KDOT, Salina.
Right now, KDOT has no plans to close I-70 and says that the roads are still good to drive.
