WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police are investigating another copper theft.

This time the thieves hit an AT&T construction site in the 5200 block of North Arkansas.

A neighbor saw someone cutting copper wiring about the same time the alarm went off.

The suspects ran off leaving most of the copper wiring a couple of blocks away.

The incident did several thousand dollars of damage and left a few customers without phone and utility service for a short time.

So far, there have been no arrests.
