Armed robbery at Derby pawn shop

DERBY, Kansas — Around 6:30 p.m. Friday, police were called for a reported armed robbery at Charlie’s Gun & Pawn in Derby.

There were shots fired but nobody was injured.

The man left empty handed and was seen driving away in an older white sedan with a veterans tag. The vehicle was reportedly missing the rear passenger side window.

The man was described as wearing a camouflage coat and had on a black ski mask.
