SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kansas — Last week Sedgwick County’s Division of Information and Operations mailed approximately 56,000 property tax receipts for payments received. It has now become known that 1,400 of those receipts were sent to the wrong addresses.

The mix-up came from a printing error and according to the Sedgwick County Communications and Community Initiatives, the receipts are currently being reprinted and will be mailed over the next few days to the correct addresses.

The communications department has advised that if a taxpayer should have any questions, they should contact the Sedgwick County call center at (316) 660-9110.
