KSN debuts news in high definition with a new set

KSN debuts a new HD news set on Monday, January 27th.

WICHITA, Kansas – Crews have been busy for several months working to convert news to high definition at KSN.

In this transition, crews have been working several months on a studio that houses a brand new HD set.

The set includes a brand new weather center to track storms and several new high definition monitors.

KSN will use this monitors to highlight important facts and figures during our stories to help report on the issues that affect you.

But these are just some of the tools we’ll be using moving forward.

Video editors and photographers have also been training on new cameras and editing gear for the change to a crystal clear picture.

Behind the scenes, directors, engineers, and graphic artists have been working on installing a new control room, learning new production software, and building new HD graphics to bring you the news in the quality you deserve.
