Brain surgery is topic at Omaha Science Cafe

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — The science of brain surgery is the focus of Tuesday’s Omaha Science Café.

Dr. Michele Aizenberg will be the featured expert. Aizenberg is director of the Brain and Spine Cancer Center at The Nebraska Medical Center and an assistant professor of neurosurgery and oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Slowdown, 729 N. 14th St., Omaha.

Science Cafes are free educational events sponsored by UNMC and other groups to increase people’s science literacy. They are open to everyone 21 and older.
