CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A division of CVS and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center have partnered to open medical clinics in some six CVS pharmacies in New Hampshire.
Clinics are now open in Concord and in West Lebanon. A clinic in Salem is scheduled to open on Dec. 11, with more openings planned in Hampton, Manchester and Nashua in January.
Under the agreement, Dartmouth-Hitchcock physicians will serve as medical directors for MinuteClinic, a division of CVS Caremark Corp., and collaborate on patient education and disease management.
The walk-in medical clinics are open seven days a week with no appointment necessary. Most major health insurance is accepted. The cost for most services starts at $79.
MinuteClinic’s entry into New Hampshire is part of its national expansion plan to open 150 clinics nationwide in 2013.
