Grants awarded for disease research in Okla.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Center for Respiratory and Infectious Diseases has awarded grants to four projects for research into respiratory infectious diseases.

A total of $158,459 was awarded to principal investigators Wouter Hoff and Marianna Patrauchan at Oklahoma State University; principal investigator Gilbert John at OSU; principal investigator Kenneth Miller at the OSU Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa; and to principal investigator Valentin Rybenkov at the University of Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Center for Respiratory and Infectious Diseases is a statewide multi-institutional center focused on research, faculty mentoring, and interdisciplinary collaborations in the respiratory infectious disease field.
