Report: Woman died from severe alcohol poisoning

YUMA, Ariz. (AP) — A toxicology report says that a woman’s death being called accidental by the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office resulted from severe alcohol poisoning.

The Yuma Sun (http://bit.ly/17Ks9SD ) reports that 19-year-old Jazmin Serrano’s body was found the afternoon of Oct. 27 in the Yuma area.

A toxicology report released by the Sheriff’s Office says Serrano had a blood alcohol level of .585 when she died. That’s more than seven times the legal driving limit of .08 for adults 21 and older.

Serrano’s body was found after a person called 911 after seeing her in a parked vehicle.

Serrano was buried Nov. 1.
