Quinn to speak at Chicago caregiving conference

CHICAGO (AP) — Gov. Pat Quinn is among the speakers at a Chicago conference on caregiving for the sick and elderly.

It’s called the Washington Post Live Caregiving in America Forum. Events on Thursday include talks from the president and CEO of the Illinois chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and the director of health and aging at Rush University Medical Center.

Quinn is set to speak in the morning at a downtown Chicago hotel. He’s expected to address the role that state government can play in caring for the elderly.

Sponsors of the event include the Washington Post and the AARP.
