Dantra to close 3 facilities in King George

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (AP) — Dantra Healthcare Inc. is closing three medical facilities in King George County.

The pending closures of Gateway Medical Urgent Care, King George Pediatrics and King George Medical Center follow Fredericksburg-based Dantra’s filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Monday.

The Free Lance-Star (http://bit.ly/1bHnXEO ) reports that Dantra president and CEO Dana Tate sent an email to county officials Wednesday morning notifying them of the closures.

Gateway Medical Urgent Care will close Oct. 18. King George Pediatrics and King George Medical Center will see their last patients on Nov. 15.

Dantra owns the company that manages the facilities.
