‘Blue Bloods’ actor’s film to screen in Wayne

WAYNE, Mich. (AP) — A film starring an actor from the hit TV show “Blue Bloods” is to have its Midwest premiere at a theater in suburban Detroit.

“Infiltrators” is to screen Saturday at the State-Wayne Phoenix Theatre in Wayne, which happens to be the hometown of the movie’s co-star, Greg Jbara, and producer Sally Helppie.

Both are graduates of Wayne Memorial High School. They’re to be joined at the event by two of the movie’s other stars — Rocco Nugent and Hallee Hirsh.

The premiere will serve as a fundraiser for Champions of Wayne, an educational program for students that includes adult mentoring and financial incentives at Wayne Memorial.

“Infiltrators” is about modern-day treasure hunters who battle for a hidden relic in a building that’s about to be imploded.
