10 a.m. CONNECTICUT AFL-CIO — A representative of the Palestine General Federation of Trade Unions, Mahmoud Abu Odeh, the president of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, Stuart Appelbaum, and Secretary of the State Denise Merrill are scheduled to speak on Thursday during the Connecticut AFL-CIO’s 10th biennial convention, continuing from Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 25 to 27.

Note: On Wednesday, the 10 a.m. start of events and speech by Abu Odeh will be followed by an 11 a.m. speech by Appelbaum, 11:30 a.m. nominations for the organization’s officers and trustees and a 1:30 p.m. speech by Merrill.
