W.Va. gets $310k for oral disease prevention

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — More than $310,000 in federal funding has been approved for a West Virginia program to prevent oral diseases.

The funding is from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and is going to the state’s Oral Disease Prevention Program, which is within the Department of Health and Human Resources.

The funding was announced by West Virginia Sens. Jay Rockefeller and Joe Manchin.
