Plane lands safely in Wichita after brake problem

WICHITA, Kansas – An American Airlines Airbus flight from Dallas made a safe landing in Wichita Friday after a indicator light said the brakes weren’t working.

The Airbus 319 landed safely at Mid-Continent just before 1 p.m. after the pilot called in the plane emergency.

There were 120 people on board.

No one was injured in the landing.
