Baby tests positive for cocaine and meth

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police are investigating after a 32-year-old mother brought her 3-month-old girl to Via Christi St. Joseph’s Hospital.

The girl was suffering seizures.

When doctors diagnosed the infant girl, it tested positive for cocaine and meth.

The baby was transferred to Via Christi St. Francis where it remains

The Exploited and Missing Children Unit was called to investigate what led to illegal drugs in the baby’s system.

Three other children, ages 2, 10, and 14, were found at the mother’s home.
