Miss. researcher to deliver cancer talk

RUSTON, La. (AP) — Dr. Lucio Miele, professor of medicine, pharmacology, biochemistry, and radiation oncology, and director of the Cancer Institute at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, will present a lecture focusing on breast cancer on Monday at Louisiana Tech University.

The session is planned for 3:30 p.m. in University Hall on the Tech campus.

Miele’s lecture kicks off Tech’s seminar series titled “New Frontiers in Biomedical Research: Impacts on Health and Society.”
