Teen dies in Morris County motorcycle crash

MORRIS COUNTY, KANSAS – A crash in Morris county Friday night left a teen dead.

The crash happened  around 7 p.m. on U.S. Highway 56 east of Herington.

Ethan Carroll, 18, was driving eastbound when he lost control of his motorcycle and crossed into the westbound lane where he was struck by a car, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Carroll was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The woman driving the car was also injured and was treated at the hospital. Another person in the car was not hurt.
