Police arrested 33-year-old Dane Deweese Wednesday night and booked him into the county jail.

Officials say he was a person of interest early on in the death of 27-year-old Kristin Tyler.

She went missing on April 25th, and her body was found on May 9th just west of Salina near I-70.

Another man, 24-year-old Joel Heil, was arrested soon after and charged with murder.

Salina police officials say they plan to recommend murder charges against Deweese.
