Work release inmate doesn’t return to Lyon County

EMPORIA, Kan. (AP) – Authorities in eastern Kansas are searching for an inmate who didn’t return from a work release program.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Department says 34-year-old Justin Neighbors was allowed out of the Lyon County Jail on work release and did not return Friday as expected.

Records show Neighbors was incarcerated on drug charges.

Authorities say Neighbors is 5’11”, 165 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
