LAWRENCE, Kansas (AP) – Douglas County authorities say a Missouri man died from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident near Lawrence.

County Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Lewis says 61-year-old Randall Lusk of El Dorado Springs, Mo., died early Tuesday. He was injured Monday night in an accident on Kansas 59 just south of Baldwin City.

Lewis says deputies responding to reports of a motorcycle in the median found Lusk seriously injured. He was flown by air ambulance to an Overland Park hospital.

Authorities are asking for anyone who was in the area of the accident to call the Douglas County Sheriff’s office.
