VALLEY CENTER, Kansas – Wichita police arrested a woman after she beat her boyfriend with a bat.

It happened Sunday night in the 6100 block of North Legion.

A 42-year-old man told police he was in an argument with his 41-year-old girlfriend.

He left and went to Valley Center.

“At some point while he was in Valley Center, he reports that he was stabbed twice and threatened with a handgun, so he went back to his girlfriend’s house where he got into another argument and was then struck in the head with a baseball bat by the girlfriend,” Lt. Joe Schroeder, Wichita Police Department.

The girlfriend was booked on aggravated battery charges.  A second suspect was interviewed and released. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
