PORT ARTHUR, Texas (KBMT) – Chilling 911 tape of a young Port Arthur, Texas boy reveal the terrifying moments as burglars entered his home Tuesday while he was alone.

12-year-old Deion Murdock locked himself in his mother’s bedroom and hid in the closet after police say two men broke into his house.

A dispatcher with the Port Arthur Police Department kept him calm throughout the terrifying experience.

“You’re doing good, doing real good, doing perfect. Your mom’s going to be so proud of you,” said the dispatcher as Murdock hid in a closet.
