Victim hit by bullets five times, refuses to help police

WICHITA, Kansas — In spite of taking five bullets from at least two assailants, a 20-year-old victim is refusing to help police find the gunmen.

Police were called to the 1100 block of S. Prairie Rd around 2:00 am Sunday. A police spokesperson referred to the victim as “very uncooperative” with officers.

He was rushed to Wesley but his wounds are considered minor and he’s expected to survive.

Investigators found shell casings from two different hand guns at the scene. They have information on some possible suspects and plan to do follow up interviews Sunday.

No arrests have been made.
