WICHITA, Kansas — Police are looking for three young suspects, ages 14 through 16, who shot a man after he refused to hand over his car keys.

It happened around 8 p.m. Saturday in the 5000 block of East Harry.

Police say the victim was approached by the three teens outside of his home when they demanded his keys. When he wouldn’t comply, one of the teens pulled out a small gun and fired.

The victim was hit in the arm. The bullet went through his arm and grazed his chest. He was taken to Wesley where he was treated and released.

Officers could not find the three teen suspects Saturday night but say they have leads and their investigation continues.
