WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita firefighters helped subdue a suspect after he threatened them with a knife while running from a crime scene.

Four men saw the suspect breaking into a car around 1:30 Saturday morning in the 900 block of South Enoch.

The suspect pulled out a pocket knife and took off.

The four men chased him to the fire station at Lincoln and Rock where the suspect threatened firefighters with his knife.
