Night of jazz coming to Edsel & Eleanor Ford House

GROSSE POINTE SHORES, Mich. (AP) — Three Detroit Divas are coming to the Ford House.

A concert that’s part of the Detroit Jazz Festival’s Community Series is to be held Friday along the Lake St. Clair shoreline.

Entitled “Detroit Divas Sing, Sing, Sing” the show at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House features Ursula Walker, Jeannine Course-Miller and Barbara Ware along with Detroit trumpet standout Johnny Trudell.

Joining the three divas is to be Re’Vana Stanfield, a student at the Detroit School of Arts and winner of the Detroit Jazz Festival’s Youth Vocalist Competition.

Tickets range from $60 for preferred seating with pre- and post-VIP reception, $30 for preferred seating to $15 for general admission advance purchases.
