PONTE VEDRA, Florida (WTLV) – Nothing says summer like a day at the beach and for Archie Baker.

Surfing is a family affair.

“It’s me, the kids, the board and the water, they all love it,” said Archie Baker, a Ponte Vedra surfer.

A love for the water extends to their four-legged phenom, Scout the dog, who is surfing up a reputation one wave at a time.

“She used to float on the raft in the pool and that’s when she started floating on the board and my dad would give her a push,” said Katherine Baker, Archie’s daughter.

A year later, the Golden Retriever rides the waves like an old pro, jumping off the board and running head first into the next big session.

“When they walk by, they just stand there and watch then they clap,” said Baker.
