COVINA, Calif. (AP) — Covina has become the latest Southern California city to ban medical marijuana dispensaries.
The San Gabriel Valley Tribune (http://bit.ly/18LoLTN ) says the City Council adopted an ordinance Tuesday banning all types of pot dispensaries, including mobile units. A staff report says a handful of dispensaries outside town advertise delivery to the Los Angeles suburb.
The state Supreme Court gave cities permission to ban pot shops in a May ruling involving a Riverside case.
