Workshop at Vol State looks at health care law

GALLATIN, Tenn. (AP) — Small-business owners who have questions about how to comply with the new health care law can attend a workshop this week at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin.

Parts of the act are to be implemented next year, and analysts say some people may have misperceptions about what the law means for small businesses.

The free workshop on Thursday is being hosted by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Vol State and Heritage Financial Group.

The program will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday in the dining room of the Wood Campus Center on the main campus.
