Woman uses stun gun on officer

WICHITA, Kansas – A woman used a stun gun on an officer after shop lifting from a local mall.

Loss prevention officers arrested two women after they attempted to shoplift from the JC Penny at the Town East Mall.

The officers followed the women to the parking lot, one of the women used a stun gun on one of the officers and was booked on aggravated battery and felony shop lift. She has a history of shoplifting and a third offense raises the charge from a misdemeanor to a felony.

The other woman was booked on misdemeanor shop lifting.
