WICHITA, Kansas – No nihilists were allowed at Northrock Lanes Saturday night as dozens of bathrobe wearing fans of The Big Lebowski celebrated the cult classic movie with their 3rd annual Dudegrass.

While the movie wasn’t popular when it came out in 1998, the Coen Brothers’ comedy about mistaken identity, White Russians, and bowling has grown a loyal legion of fans.

The festival featured a costume contest, The Dude’s favorite drink, and screenings of the movie that stars Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, and Julianne Moore. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
