JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) — St.?Bernards Healthcare has signed a sponsorship agreement with Arkansas State University that designates it as the official healthcare provider for A-State athletics.
The agreement was announced Tuesday by the Arkansas State Athletics Department. Athetic director Terry Mohajir says St. Bernards and team doctors with Jonesboro Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine provide first-class medical attention to student-athletes.
St. Bernard president and CEO Chris Barber says the health care provider has long supported the university and has very close ties to health professions and other programs that are important in training future providers of health services.
