GREAT BEND, Kansas – A Hays resident, who wished to remain anonymous, has come forward to claim the $1 million Powerball cash prize from the August 7 Powerball drawing.

The winning ticket matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball.

The winning numbers were 05-25-30-58-59 Powerball 32.

The $1 million winning ticket was sold at Cerv’s 2, located at 2722 Hall St. in Hays.

For selling the winning ticket, the store is eligible for a $1,000 selling bonus.

Two other tickets from the August 7 Powerball drawing matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball, to be worth $10,000.

The tickets were both sold in northeast Kansas and remain unclaimed.
