WICHITA, Kansas – One of Wichita’s aircraft companies is doing their part to make sure students have enough school supplies.

Workers from Bombardier Learjet were at Jardine Technology Magnet School Wednesday dropping off hundreds of backpacks.

Each was filled with everything students need for class.

“The fact that a company would step forth like this and provide our kids with the basic things they need for success in school, takes so much off the plates of the parents and off the plate of our teachers. And it allows our kids to come in and be successful. This is huge for us,” said Lura Atcherly, Jardine Magnet Principal.

The Bombardier Learjet employees dropped off more backpacks at the McLean Magnet School as well.

Students go back to class next week.
