Fort Scott man killed when car rolls

FORT SCOTT, Kansas – The Kansas Highway Patrol says a 49-year-old Fort Scott man was killed in an accident.

It happened on westbound Maple Road Tuesday night.

Curtis J. Elliot was driving his 2005 Kia Optima when he left the road and entered the ditch.

He struck several trees.

The vehicle came to rest on its wheels.
