RICE COUNTY, Kansas — One of the areas dealing with the most flooding after heavy rain this weekend is Rice County.

Mike Courson of the Lyons News got an aerial view of just how bad the flooding is.

He took these photos around noon Monday and shared them with KSN.

Mike says the small town of Saxman in the southeast part of the county had to be evacuated Sunday night.

He also says the Cow Creek continues to overflow. It forced the closure of Highway 14 between Lyons and Sterling Monday.
