Powerball jackpot increases to $300 million for Saturday’s drawing

TOPEKA, Kansas – Player excitement is building as the Powerball jackpot continues to climb.

The jackpot has been increased to an estimated $300 million, with a cash option of $172.7 million for tomorrow night’s drawing!

The Powerball jackpot has been on a roll since a Pennsylvania resident claimed a jackpot-winning ticket worth $131.5 million in the June 22 Powerball drawing.

Although Kansas hasn’t had a Powerball jackpot winner since December 19, 2012, two lucky Kansas players have each won $1 million cash prizes within the last two weeks.

Powerball jackpots start at $40 million and continue to climb until the jackpot is won.
