ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Missouri (KSDK) – A St. Charles County, Missouri woman has been charged for allegedly leaving a loaded rifle in a crib with her child.
Police say they were called to the home of 37-year-old Cheryl Darlene Dudley Monday when someone saw Dudley’s 22-month-old daughter tied to the garage with rope.
A rife was found in the girl’s crib. She had numerous flea bites on her body.
Narcotics were found within reach of the girl and her 7-year-old sibling. Feces was also found inside the home.
Dudley is charged with eight counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of child abuse.
