GARDEN CITY, Kansas – All roads in the Garden City area are now open but earlier some locations in southwest Kansas were getting heavy rain and it caused some problems.

Garden City police were asking all residents to stay off the city streets. They say multiple vehicles were stranded due to high water in the streets.

Neil Hawley sent video of the downpour to ReportIt@KSN.com. He shot the video just after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

We are also hearing reports of tree limbs blocking roads.
