Wild West World owner Thomas Etheredge out on parole

WICHITA, Kansas – Thomas Etheredge, the founder of Wild West World who was sent to prison for defrauding investors, is now out of jail and headed to New York.

Etheredge was convicted for bilking investors out of tens of thousands of dollars to build his theme park in Park City.

He’s being released on parole on an out-of-state compact after serving just over three years of a five year sentence.

Wild West World closed in 2007 after opening for just two months.

He was convicted of fraud in 2010.
