Toddler improving after being swept away in creek

WICHITA, Kansas – A toddler swept away in a rain-swollen creek Friday is now in good condition.

The incident happened Friday in the 8300 block of East Gilbert.

Officer Darren Sundquist found the boy submerged and began CPR.

The boy was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but he is now listed in good condition.
