DUI checkpoint ends with only one drug arrest

WICHITA, Kansas – On Saturday night, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office along with the Kansas Highway Patrol conducted a sobriety check lane on K-15.

The check lane, conducted between the hours of 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., resulted in one drug case.

The check lane ended early due to the cloud to ground lightning.
