TOPEKA, Kansas – For the second week in a row, a ticket sold in Kansas for a Saturday night Powerball drawing won $1 million.

The lucky ticket, sold in northeast Kansas for the July 27 drawing, matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball, to be worth $1 million.

The winning numbers are 9-23-40-53-58 Powerball 6.

In addition to the $1 million ticket, another Powerball ticket, also sold in northeast Kansas for Saturday’s drawing, matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball to win a $10,000 prize.

On Saturday, July 20, Nelson Worley of Osawatomie matched the first five numbers in the Powerball drawing to win $1 million. He claimed his prize a week ago today at Lottery headquarters.

No ticket matched all numbers in Powerball, Hot Lotto or Super Kansas Cash over the weekend. The Powerball jackpot increased to an estimated $235 million for Wednesday’s drawing. The Hot Lotto jackpot is an estimated $7.26 million for Wednesday. In Super Kansas Cash, the jackpot stands at an estimated $465,000 for tonight’s drawing.
