Local pizza maker unveils Wichita Style pizza

WICHITA, Kansas – There’s Chicago Deep Pan pizza and New York Style pizza, so why not a Wichita Style pizza? That’s the question Knolla’s Pizza asked their customers to help answer.

The local pizza maker decided to survey their customers to help them decided what should go on a Wichita Style pizza, and they unveiled their creation to the city on Saturday.

The Wichita Style pizza is topped with onions, tomato chunks, beef, bacon, roasted garlic, sunflower seeds, oregano, basil, barbecue sauce, and shredded parmesan on a butter coated crust.

Knolla’s has been cooking up pizza creations in Wichita for nearly 30 years.
