SAN ANTONIO, Texas (WOAI) – The tail cone of a Boeing C-17 Globemaster, a military aircraft, fell into a San Antonio, Texas neighborhood Thursday.

The massive piece of aircraft fell in the backyard of a home.

People in the neighborhood say they heard the plane and saw the cone fall off.

Nobody was hurt.

The C-17 Globemaster has been in the Air Force inventory since the 1980s.

It is generally used as a cargo and transport plane.

The plane was being repaired at the Boeing San Antonio facility.
