Oberlin man killed in accident

OBERLIN, Kansas – A Oberlin man was killed in a two vehicle crash on westbound Highway 36.

It happened Wednesday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 87-year-old Gleason Dryden was driving his Toyota Camry. He turned westbound onto Highway 36 and struck a trailer.

Dryden was taken to Decatur County Hospital where he died.

Officers say the truck driver from Wichita was not injured.
